How to convert an image to JPG

JPG cannot store transparency. HEIC conversion handles still photos; motion is not included. Documents and videos are not supported here.

FAQ

Which images can I convert to JPG?

The JPG converter accepts PNG, WebP, JPG, JPEG, JFIF, HEIC and HEIF still images. You can mix supported formats in one batch. Documents and video files are not supported.

What happens to transparency when converting to JPG?

JPEG does not support alpha. Transparent areas are flattened onto a background color — white by default, or black / custom hex you choose.

Is converting to JPG lossless?

No. This tool re-encodes images as JPEG, which uses lossy compression. A high quality setting can reduce visible changes but does not guarantee identical pixels or a smaller file. Keep your original if you need its quality or metadata.

Do you upload my images?

No. All conversion, compression, and resizing happens in your browser using Canvas and ImageBitmap. Image bytes never leave your device.
