How to convert Excel to CSV

  3. Download the .csv file.

CSV is a plain text format. Only the first worksheet is included; formulas, styles, charts and additional sheets are not preserved.

Are my spreadsheets or documents uploaded?

No. Data conversion runs locally in your browser. The selected files and results are not sent to our servers.

What are the data file limits?

Input files are limited to 15 MB and tabular or text data to 100,000 rows. PDF text extraction is limited to 200 pages. Scanned PDFs are not processed with OCR.

Does Excel to CSV include every worksheet?

This first version exports only the first worksheet. CSV cannot preserve additional sheets, formulas, formatting, charts or workbook features.
